Drive outside the city to Atsagatsky valley for the Buryat experience. It's 60 km out. We start at the local Datsan where we meet a local lama to talk, our tourists can ask all the questions they have and clear all confusion about Buddhism. This place is home for Agvan Dorzhiev, the teacher of Dalai Lama XIII, and we visit his house, which is now a museum. Learn the story of the great lamas of this unique valley. If possible and people want we climb the hill for the panorama.

Then, we drive to a local house and meet the family to talk and see how the real people live. Lunch at the family (either at the local cafe). Then we drive to a tourist complex where we play knuckle bone games (like 3 out of 14 types hehe), try archery and just relax. At around 5pm-6pm we drive back to the city.

Atsagat valley is a steppe grassland full of Buryat sacral places.

Archery is fun, especially when you hit the target

Alli is learning how to play ankle bone games!
